I spent two wonderfully peaceful weeks in the sweet seaside town of Cefalù—and wow, what a place. Between the food, the mountains, the sea, the people, the air… and yes, the food (worth repeating), it was pretty close to perfect.

I had an incredible time. Sicily is a rich mix of cultures, histories, and people, and since this was my first visit, I feel like I’ve only scratched the surface. Starting here felt exactly right—this small town tucked under the constant presence of La Rocca. It’s always watching over you. So are the mountains. So is the sea.
